We’re in the process of determining our Habitat build dates for 2025. Over the next several weeks, we’ll learn more about timing. But we do know we’ll be working on nine townhouses at the Old Poole Road location where we were two years ago.
We’ll also partner again with the St. Michael Parish volunteer team for two build weeks.
Thank you for your interest and past work with Habitat for Humanity. We’d like to see you again this year as part of the 2025 team. We also want to reach out to new volunteers. Look for our Habitat Table at the upcoming Ministry Fair. We can answer your questions and provide the latest news on dates.
To help kick off our 2025 build season, St. Michael the Archangel Parish is hosting a Mardi Gras-themed benefit concert on Monday, March 3, at 7 p.m. to support Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.
The concert will feature the Old North State Brass, a 12-piece brass ensemble performing music in the spirit of Mardi Gras: New Orleans-style Jazz, Dixieland, Ragtime, and Swing.
We’ll accept a free-will offering at the event. Habitat's guest speakers will share more details about this year’s spring build. Refreshments will be available at the intermission.
If you’re new to working with Habitat, people who can share information, answer questions, and share stories will be available. This event is open to everyone. Other Habitat support teams in the Cary area are invited. No advanced reservation is required.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help manage the event and to provide refreshments and party supplies.
