"Through His Eyes" is a six-week program that uses stories of the saints, scripture, and engaging service activities to help children and tweens find and live true joy.
This children's Lenten program will run on Fridays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on March 15 and 22 and April 5, 12, 19, and 26.
Over the weeks, we will put on the lens of God, learning to see ourselves and others through his eyes. After learning that our identity is rooted in our belovedness, we will explore how to live our identity as children of God in a broken world.
Anxiety, depression, and peer pressure are real problems that children face at an alarming rate. The good news is that the world's troubles are no match for the enduring joy of God.
The fruit of love is service, and the fruit of service is Joy. Our children will participate in service projects that will teach and encourage them as they become active Mother Teresa members. The program will culminate with a very special Saint Gianna Molla Tea Party on Sunday, April 28.
