Mass intentions requests open

We're now accepting requests for Mass intentions for July through December. Email or call the parish office (919) 623-1751. Mass cards are available. Please be considerate when submitting your request. We have limited Masses and can only take one intention and stipend per Mass.

For each Mass intention, we suggest a donation of $10. You can conveniently donate via WeShare, or if you prefer, place your donation in an envelope clearly marked “Mass intention.

Mass is the highest form of Catholic prayer. When we celebrate Mass for a particular intention, whether a living or dead person or a special occasion, the priest and congregation devote their prayers to that request.

People typically request a Mass for a departed soul, healing for the sick, personal intentions, or thanksgiving. In recent years, it has become more popular to celebrate Masses for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and other life events.

By sponsoring altar flowers, you honor a loved one or commemorate a special event and contribute to our Mass's aesthetic appeal. Sign up here to sponsor one of the two flower arrangements that adorn our altar in our new worship center every week. We suggest a $75 donation for each arrangement to help defray the cost.

In addition, we have a Prayer Intention Book in the narthex for people to write their special intentions or prayer requests. We pray for these during the Prayers of the Faithful.
