Mother Teresa Parish will provide a dessert table for the Oak City Cares patrons and serve lunch on Sunday, March 3. We'll need enough baked goods to serve 300 people through the weekend lunch service. All desserts must be individually packaged for easy grab-and-go.
You can bring all donated desserts in a disposable container to Mass on March 2 and 3. We'll collect them and bring them to OCC. If you'd like to help serve the meals, please arrive at OCC, 1430 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, by 11:30.
Oak City Cares, started partly by Catholic Charities, is a services hub for the homeless in the Raleigh area. Unfortunately, since opening in 2019, the number of clients needing services has tripled. The generous support from our Mother Teresa community has been an enormous blessing to OCC patrons. Thank you for extending your hands and hearts to our friends in need.
