Parish leadership changes

For a parish to function effectively as a community of believers, each church enlists the laity as advisors to assist the pastor in his leadership responsibilities.

With July marking the new fiscal year, we made several membership changes to the Pastoral and Finance Councils. Ed Simanskis passed the Pastoral Council chair role to Melissa Wesdock. Paul Wolf transitioned his role as Finance Council chair to Michelle Lombana.

Our parishioners are involved in many charitable endeavors. The Mercy Ministry's role is to look at each project and identify the need, who will be served, and how the project reflects both our vision and the teachings of our patron, Mother Teresa. Mary Ann McNeill will continue to be the coordinator of this effort, now a ministry under the Pastoral Council.

We are most grateful for the many talented and generous people in this parish who give of their time, talent, and treasure to make the Mother Teresa Parish a truly joyful place to worship and grow in faith.
