Bishop invites young adults to Catholic-palooza

Bishop Luis Zarama invites all university students and young adults (including all high school seniors) to join him for a diocesan-wide University/Young Adult Catholic-Palooza at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral to celebrate our Catholic faith in fun and worship as witnesses to the joy of the Gospel.

We all share the bishop's concern, which he expressed at the Provincial Gathering. Our young people are the hope, but they are suffering, and we need to see how to reach them better.

In one week, we suffered the UNC shooting and, a few days later, another suicide at NC State University. (We had 14 student deaths at NC State last year — 7 by suicide and already another.)
