Join Miss Bridget and your Mother Teresa Parish friends in reading "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" by Barbara Robinson.
Come in your pajamas, bring a blanket to sit on, and enjoy reading, crafting, and cookie decorating with us.
After introducing the book theme, we'll spend the evening crafting and decorating cookies. The children will take the book home with them to enjoy reading over Christmas vacation.
"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" follows the outrageous shenanigans of the Herdman siblings, also known as the "worst kids in the history of the world." The Herdman siblings show up at church for the free snacks and suddenly take over the Christmas pageant, shocking the children and adults of the parish.
Christmas magic is all around the Herdmans, who've never heard the Christmas story before and start to reimagine it in their own way. While it appears they're up to no good, nothing is impossible for God, even when it comes to converting the "worst kids"!
