Monthly Senior Gathering

A little planning now can decrease the burden on your loved ones. Come to an informative session on preparing for our funeral organized by the Monthly Seniors Gathering and the Carolina Preserve Neuman Club. 

Special guests include Fr. Daniel, our liturgy and music director, Cindy Fitzgerald, and a funeral home representative who will present a brief overview of how to prepare when the time comes.

Here are some of the questions they will address:

1. Have you written your funeral instructions and filled them in so that your family and executor know your wishes concerning your death and funeral?

2. Burial or cremation? Does it matter, and if so, how?

3. Have you completed a funeral liturgy planning sheet at your parish church where your funeral liturgy will take place?

4. Are there Bible readings and music recommended for funerals? Can you pick those not recommended if you wish?

5. Have you completed your burial arrangements with a funeral home? Did you know you can lock in the price of your funeral if you make those arrangements now?

6. Did you know you can arrange for Mass to be celebrated for you after you die if you are concerned that no one in your family will make such requests?
