The Mother Teresa Parish Homeless Ministry starts the 2022-2023 year by partnering with the Carolina Preserve Newman Club and CP Cares on a joint collection drive for Oak City Cares and the Durham Rescue Mission to benefit our area’s unhoused and homeless.
The collection will be on Saturday, October 22, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Amberly Clubhouse parking lot, 1075 Residents Club Dr. (at the back, near the greenway). Volunteers will unload from your trunk, so you won’t need to get out of your car.
We’ll be collecting a specific list of items for Oak City Cares and new or gently used clothing and small household appliances in good working order for the Durham Rescue Mission.
