October is Respect Life Month. As part of our celebration of life, we've planted 2,400 blue and pink flags in the shape of a heart on the hill in front of the worship center.
While these flags symbolize the number of daily abortions in America, they also represent the love we are called to give. We’re called to love from conception to natural death. As Mother Teresa said, “God is love, and when we love, we are like God.”
These flags represent the courageous moms and dads who have lost a child, including those children lost prematurely. They portray single moms and dads and adoptive parents who need our prayers and assistance.
These flags represent our elderly, who need comfort and friendship, particularly as they prepare for eternal life. In essence, they represent someone we know and love.
The Mother Teresa community is strong and vibrant. Please embrace these flags as a reminder of love, joy, life, and determination.
We are a pro-life church.
