Safety for Seniors

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office sponsors the Citizen Well Check Program. It's a free service open to all Wake County residents 65 years or older who live alone and would like a daily call to check-in.

Participants will get a daily call from the sheriff's office. If no one responds, they'll notify your emergency contact or dispatch a sheriff's deputy to check on you.
