The Salvation Army family shelter is grateful for your generous donation, which enabled us to deliver 11 carloads of blankets, sheets, and towels.
The family shelter serves about 100 residents and can accommodate another 100 people nightly- sleeping on cots in their lobby and common areas. Their goal is to have no child sleep on the street.
Because of this and the family's transition to longer-term housing, they constantly need bedding and towels.
Due to the cold weather this week, the number of people needing a warm place to sleep doubled. The bedding donations came at the perfect time. Thank you for your kindness and for significantly impacting someone who needs a place to sleep.
