In honor of our 100th anniversary, the Diocese of Raleigh published a commemorative book titled “Treasures of the Diocese of Raleigh.”

Last Sunday, our children came marching at our annual All Saints' Day Procession, and our youth participated in the different liturgical roles at this Children's Mass.

Mother Teresa Parish is teaming up with St. Michael the Archangel, St. Andrew the Apostle, and St. Mary Magdalene Parishes on a Thanksgiving project for Oak City Cares.

Fr. Charles shared a letter from the St. Matia Mulumba Pastoral Council, expressing their "deepest gratitude" for our "incredible support and assistance" over the years. They also sent two gifts, two sets of altar linens, and a Missal stand made in Uganda

We blessed the latest adornments to our worship space, statues of St. Mary and St. Joseph, on October First Saturday.

Our Lady of Guadalupe's Students for Life Teen Group has just begun a fundraiser with Tiny Saints.

We seek to add a committed and dedicated Parish Facilities Coordinator position to our team.

In response to the "biblical devastation" wrought by Hurricane Helene, the Diocese of Raleigh has requested all parishes to take up a special collection to help our brothers and sisters in western North Carolina.

Fr. Daniel Oschwald was named a senior chaplain by the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem on September 28 at St. Mary Magdalene Church.

October is also the Month of the Holy Rosary, a beautiful way to pray for our church, our nation, our families, and life. Join one of the many opportunities this month to give glory to Jesus through Mary.

October is Respect Life Month. As part of our celebration of life, we’ve decorated our church campus with blue and pink ribbons and signs bearing the pro-life words of Mother Teresa.
