The Epiphany House Blessing is a time-honored tradition for many Catholics worldwide. We'll distribute house blessing kits on the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, December 31 and January 1, and the Feast of the Epiphany, January 4 and 5.

Mother Teresa's Respect Life Committee is so grateful for all the donations made during the recent baby bottle drive. We raised $4,039.

With heavy hearts and great sadness, we mourn the passing of Monsignor Gerald Lawrence Lewis, a priest of the Diocese of Raleigh for 63 years and a faithful friend and benefactor of Mother Teresa Parish. He entered eternal life on Dec. 16, 2024, at his home in Raleigh.

To those who still need to finalize 2024 charitable donations, please consider a special year-end gift to the parish. Charitable donations for the 2024 tax year must be submitted or postmarked by December 31.

Thank you to two families who have generously offered to match dollar for dollar, up to $50,000, toward Pay Down The Debt. We welcome gifts of any amount toward this effort.

We'll give our homebound friends a special gift bag in the new year.

The generosity of Mother Teresa's parishioners toward our Thanksgiving project was so overwhelming that we could provide 300 meal cards, with enough left over to support four families in need for Christmas.

The Respect Life Committee delivered a basket of handmade baby blankets, hats, and stuffed animals to Room at the Inn, a unique, comprehensive program helping homeless single pregnant women.

We plan to livestream one Mass per weekend, barring technical difficulties.

Thank you all so much for donating breakfast treats and meal cards for the guests of Oak City Cares.
