We're blessed with many generous givers in our church. Our preparations before moving into our new space are paying off. But as we take on more expenses our offertory must also increase.

Bishop Rafael Zarama appointed Jeff Vittert to the Diocesan Building and Real Estate Commission. This important group oversees all the diocese's building projects.

Our Faith Formation students recorded the Divine Mercy Chaplet for Divine Mercy Radio. Listen to their prayer on Wednesday, April 24, at 6 p.m. over the air or online.

May is the Month of Mary. We'll begin the celebration with two special children's events honoring our Holy Mother, learning about the Immaculate Heart of Mary on First Saturday May 4 and our May Crowning on Sunday, May 5.

In support of children with special needs, the Knights of Columbus, their families, and local teachers will give away Tootsie rolls and accept donations after all Masses on May 4 and 5.

Our Confirmation candidates attended their retreat at Mother Teresa Church on April 13, led by Austin Faur from Our Lady of Lourdes. Please pray for our candidates as they finish their preparation for Confirmation on May 29.

Forty-two Mother Teresa Catholic Church runners participated in the 30th annual Run for Life at WakeMed Soccer Field.

The first crop from the St. Matia Mulumba Maize Garden has exceeded expectations, providing a bountiful harvest that will feed more schoolchildren than anticipated.

We at Mother Teresa Catholic Church are singularly blessed to have received a first-class relic from the bones of St. Maria Faustina with its special reliquary from the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Poland.

We're now accepting requests for Mass intentions for July through December. Please be considerate when submitting a request. We have limited Masses and can only take one intention and stipend per Mass.

The Knights of Columbus will welcome new members on Saturday, April 20, after 4:30 p.m Mass.

Vacation Bible School registration is open. VBS is for grades K-5 and will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays from July 11 through August 1.
