Our Lady of Guadalupe's Students for Life, a pro-life group comprised of youth from Mother Teresa and surrounding parishes, was nominated as one of the top three best New Groups of the Year by Students for Life of America.

Sixteen of our young adults were "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit as they received the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 29.

Mother Teresa Parish is starting a safety and security ministry. An information session is set for Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m. in the narthex.

The Holy Spirit was truly present on May 18 at the joyful celebration of the Sacrament of First Holy Communion for 24 of our children.

Thanks to our many volunteers, the Mother Teresa Habitat Team completed our second 2024 Build Week on Saturday alongside our St. Michael’s partners.

Mother Teresa parishioners were among the 500 people from across North Carolina who participated in the 26th annual NC March for Life on May 18 in Raleigh.

The Durham Community Food Pantry will mark its fifth anniversary at its current location on March 18. They'll acknowledge key donors, supporters, and volunteers that day, including Mother Teresa Parish.

The Respect Life Committee will welcome our parish moms, grandmothers, godmothers, and expecting moms on Mother’s Day with a small token of our love and appreciation after each Mass on May 11 and 12.

St. Matia Parish must build a security wall to enclose the nun’s convent area, which includes the nun’s house, dormitory and outdoor kitchen.

Our neighbors to the south are extending Sentinel Ferry Rd. This will give us a southern access point when complete. Please stay clear of this area while construction is underway.

People come and go all throughout our lives. Each person becomes an opportunity for God to file and buff away the rough edges of everyone’s self-centeredness, so we must always be open to the people God places before us. It saddens me to tell you that I will be gone again from you.

The St. Gianna Molla Tea Party went off beautifully, thanks to the joint efforts of the Respect Life Ministry and our Faith Formation team.
