On behalf of Father Daniel and the Finance Council members, I sincerely thank all of you who give your time, talent, and treasure to Mother Teresa each year. We would not have developed the wonderful church community we all cherish without you.

To commemorate our centennial, the Diocese of Raleigh has issued a “100 Challenge” to parishes, asking them to do 100 “things” to celebrate. In the spirit of St. Teresa of Calcutta, we ask 100 parishioners to do one “small thing with great love” to honor our patron saint.

Magnificat magazine provided complimentary copies of the September edition as a gift for our Feast Day celebration.

Alan Fontaine is the new Pastoral Council chair, and the pastoral and finance councils have some new members.

Some parishioners recently received an email purported to be from Father Daniel. It was a scam. Our several Gmail accounts all use the name format beginning with “mtccary” and include the office name (i.e., office, finance, communications). If you get an email from another address, it's a scam.

On this day 24 years ago, our community began our long journey to a parish when about 20 people celebrated the first Mass at Green Hope HS, presided over by Monsignor John Wall, then St. Michael the Archangel pastor.

The Columbiettes are a charitable ladies’ service organization willing to make a difference in today’s society.

Deacon Brian Phillips blessed the teens of Mother Teresa Parish before they head off to college. He gave advice and teaching about wisdom and prudence from the book of Sirach . The students that attended are headed to UNCC, NCSU, and USC.
